Performs maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding of Caterpillar and allied equipment under limited supervision in the Rental Department.
Compensation:
up to $34.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent Previous mechanical experience in the given industry/division Must be able to read and comprehend repair manuals Must have shop required hand tools Ability to use micrometer and other testing tool
Essential Functions:
Performs work assignments on all types of Caterpillar and allied equipment Lifts parts and equipment components that weigh no more than 50 pounds Operates and moves equipment being repaired in and out of shop service bays Input accurate Service Reports, reads and comprehends blueprints, technical data and service manuals May be required to possess a Commercial Driver's License based on department operational needs Performs assigned shop repairs on CAT and allied equipment in a timely and efficient manner Uses proper test equipment to troubleshoot for needed repairs Projects a positive company image with fellow employees, customers, and management; complies with company dress code Keeps work area clean and orderly; follows all work safety rules and procedures Ensures accuracy of work orders by charging parts and labor to proper work order segments Owns and maintains sufficient hand tools to perform the job May be required to work overtime if needed Performs other duties as necessary and assigned Performs maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding of Caterpillar and allied equipment under limited supervision in the Rental Department.
